About the workshop

What would happen if Facebook were to shut down tomorrow? Or Instagram? Unless we have a database and email addresses for our clients, we would potentially lose contact with them! (#terrifying!)
Insure your business by fleshing out your database, and setting up your email client (Mailchimp!) so you can contact your clients on your terms and increase your client connection, and ultimately, sales! Don’t worry if you don’t have an active database, we will give you guidance and help you start setting yours up.
In this workshop we will be:
- Setting up your newsletter template, with your business branding
- Setting up your database in Mailchimp
- Setting up an ‘opt-in’ form for you to use either on social media or for your website!
Your database is your ‘golden address book in the sky’ and is a key component of your marketing plan, when it comes to communicating with your audience. Whilst social media is also good, we don’t own any of those platforms, and we are governed by their algorithms as to who will see what when. Not the case with your database, however - we have complete control, which is why it is so important to set up your email client in a professional and informative manner.
Let’s get your email communications up and running!
- The ability to easily set up and send an email newsletter to your database
- An ‘opt-in’ form to use for either social media + your website
- The ability to confidently use Mailchimp as a fantastic digital marketing tool for your business
