About the workshop

When Instagram first popped up in 2010, it was filled with pics of pets, selfies and food just like every other social media platform around.

Fast forward to 2019 and there has been a huge shift to using Instagram for marketing your business. Instagram has evolved from being a simple photo sharing app to a full-on marketing channel.

In the last year alone, Instagram has released new tools such as:

  • Advanced analytics
  • Shoppable posts
  • Instagram Stories
  • IGTV (Instagram TV)

Whatever business you are in, it pays to have a presence on Instagram.

This two-hour session will cover:

  • How to set up an eye-catching bio
  • How the algorithm works
  • How to optimise your posts for the most engagement
  • Shoppable links
  • How to grow your account
  • Tools that are available to make layouts and scheduling easier and fun
  • An overview of Instagram analytics

By the end of the workshop you will have a greater understanding of how Instagram works and how you can use it to benefit your social media marketing efforts.
