About the workshop

Here's what Nick has to say:

Intro - What are we trying to do here?

We're trying to put together an ecosystem of software to save everyone time, increase efficiency and make more money. Also, I hate email - let's reduce our emails drastically.

Essentially we're trying to streamline the organisation to reduce email and get rid of the digital equivalent of running a business on 10,000 post it notes.

Overview - The unified digital setup aka 'the single source of truth'

Using several products we're going to create a comprehensive way to run the business digitally.

We've basically going to actually set things up so your life is like the ads where the guy just checks his phone, smiles and lays on a beach somewhere.

It all starts with Google

We're running Google apps to hold everything together, or as I call it, glue-gle.

Slack - Stop emailing people all the time

This section is all about moving your team to slack to free up your email for important stuff.

About Nick

Nick RichardsNick has been involved in business since his early teens, working for entrepreneurs and sometimes pursuing ventures of his own. After graduating with a Masters Degree in Commerce, he spent several years in business and corporate banking, before having a quarter-life crisis and deciding to chase his entrepreneurial dreams on a full-time basis. Whilst to many this seemed insanity, it resulted in a several very successful businesses and the opportunity to help startups move from a great idea to a great business.

Nick now has multiple businesses with staff in four different countries and in a range of industries, but prefers on-demand apps and outsourced service markets. He's seen pretty much everything when it comes to startups, tech and the new economy and is always happy to share his experience.
